February 17th, 1944-December 16th, 2011) Lucinda Anne Melichar M.D. (“Cindy” to all who knew her,) was born February 17th, 1944, in Smithville, Missouri. She was the first of three daughters born to Joseph Harrison Farmer and Virginia Best Farmer. From a young age, Cindy was extremely disciplined, hardworking and driven to find ways to help others less fortunate than her. Missouri, Stephanie and husband Don Donnelly of Nashville, Tennessee and Nathan Boeh of Cuba, four amazing grandchildren Taylor, Gage, Drew and Dillon, one sister Maribeth and husband Ken Lee of Smithville, Missouri, one brother John and wife Andre Boeh of St. Joseph, Missouri, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM at the Cuba High School Gymnasium, #1 Wildcat Drive, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Cuba High School Gymnasium, #1 Wildcat Drive, Cuba, Missouri. Special music will be “Amazing Grace” by Ron Cambron. Family and friends are honored to serve as pall bearers.
Interment and prayers will follow the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society in Coach’s memory.

Pentecostal Theological Seminary. He received an honorary doctor of divinity degree from Lee University. His pastorates included Columbia, Miss., Smithville, Tenn., Anderson, S.C., and North Cleveland Church of God, in Tennessee. Dr. Atkinson also served as State Youth and CE Director in Alabama and South Carolina.Dr. Atkinson was elected to serve on the Church of God International Executive Committee as General Secretary-Treasurer from 1994-1996. Atkinson served as state administrative bishop in: MS, KY, AL, W. NC, and TN. He also served as Director of Media Ministries and National Evangelist. Recently, he was very involved in the ministries of Metropolitan Tabernacle church.Walter Atkinson will be remembered as a true "statesman," world-class leader, and gifted Bible scholar. His love for God, his family, the Church, his friends and "ordinary people" ran very deeply and was easily observed in his everyday life. He and his wife of 54 years, Oleda, were truly a "team" in all of their ministry and life experiences.Visitation will occur on Friday, Nov. 4, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life and Legacy service of Dr. Walter Atkinson at 7 p.m. at Metropolitan Tabernacle...
