Local franchisees open new Bojangles restaurant - Greenville News

Bojangles’ new restaurant in Greenville also represents an economic investment in the area. The average investment made for new locations is $1.7 million, and each new store creates an average of 25-35 new jobs. The new Bojangles’ will also affect the local economy through increased tax revenues and by using local companies for recurring needs such as landscaping and repairs, a company statement said. The reunited Beach Boys lineup of Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks made their live debut at the awards, joined on stage by Foster the People. Bon Iver won best new artist, Skrillex took home three trophies, and two-time Grammy winners The Civil Wars are scheduled to play just a few weeks before singer Joy Williams’ baby is due. The Chili Peppers will play Bonnaroo as new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members. About half of the lineup was announced Tuesday and additions will be made later. David Allan Ronning, 72, of Pine Island, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at his home.He was born April 10, 1939, in Kenyon, the son of Glenn Sr. and Arline (Johnston) Ronning. He graduated from Kenyon Schools, attended the University of Minnesota and St. Olaf College. On June 27, 1959, he married Ione Dahl in Kenyon. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Kenyon, Rochester and Pine Island. Ione died May 5, 2008.
