Elizabeth “Betty” Briggs of Woodburn, former 72-year resident of Lane County, who died Nov. 17 of age-related causes. She was 97 years old. Uncle Gary took Tab and Jim to their first concert). He could tell you anything you ever wanted to know about any song our group. Tab loved the drags. It was at the drag strip in Woodburn that he met the love of his life, Michelle, who was beautiful inside and out. With Michelle’s sons, Chad and Jack; daughter Alex; and granddaughter Melanie, Tab had the family he’d always wanted. His sister, Holly and husband Doug have two children, Ava and Barrett that he cherished. He loved all his cousins. They all meant so much to him. He has very fond memories of you all. Of course that goes for all the aunties and uncles too. Tab has so many friends. His family wishes to thank you all so much for your love and support of Tab, not just during this difficult time, but all of his life. It has been requested by many of you to say: “Tab was a good guy.” It was 7 a.m. Aug. 25 that our beautiful Tab left us. “I don’t know how we’ll get along without you. You are just so loved.” He has one grandmother, Violet Krutsenger; and two grandfathers, Bernie Gay and Jim O’Bryant.
