Davis; brother Benjamin Davis; and brother Paul Davis who died at birth. She is survived by seven brothers, Cy Davis of Blodgett, Don Davis and wife Eunice of Corvallis, Bob Davis and wife Kerma of Prineville, Phillip Davis and wife Dorothy of Prineville, and Ernest Davis and wife Gwen of Filer, Idaho; two Sisters, Annetta Fleming and husband Earl of Blodgett, and Donna Scarth and husband Jim of Oregon City; and two daughters, Barbara Morgan of Corvallis and Bonnie Sprenger of Albany. She had five grandchildren, Dean Mintken and wife Johnna of Sweet Home, Deanna Flach of Surrey, B.C., Danette Desaulnier of Philomath, Debbie Martin and husband Tom of Somerset, Wis., and Dale DeFord and wife Dawn of Albany. She also had 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the Blodgett Community Church. Mom’s request is in lieu of flowers, donations go to Blodgett Community Church Youth Group or Missionaries. (Albany Democrat-Herald)

She will be deeply missed.  She was a long time member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had a very strong faith.  Thelma is survived by nine children, James Garrett of Prineville, Kenneth Garrett of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Linda Lamer of Jefferson, Nancy Golladay of Joplin, Wanda Garrett Haak of Corvallis, Sherry Garrett of Puyallup, Wash., and Wayne Garrett, Richard Garrett and Darryl Garrett, all of Sweet Home; stepchildren William Garrett of Redmond, and Marjorie Garrett of Reno; sister Dorothy Mero Foley of Alabama; 39 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Garrett; stepson Clayton Garrett; brother LeRoy... Bob is survived by his wife, Isabel Meyer of Lebanon; son Larry Meyer and wife Helen of Lebanon; daughters Jeanie Alley and husband Bob of Lebanon, and Carol Burkhart and husband Bob of Prineville; sisters Ilene Houston of Astoria and Marvel Kunkle of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Harold, Roman and Vernon Meyer; sister Sylvia Voll; and his parents. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial following at the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice sent in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355. (Albany Democrat-Herald)
