Henry Dahlberg

Joy McGinnis on July 31, 1951. They returned to Upper Volta where they served until 1954. They pastored a home missions church in Pine City, Minn., and then in Madras. Henry then attended Willamette University where he obtained his teaching credentials with a master’s degree in French. He began teaching school at 7-Oaks Middle School in Lebanon in 1961 where he taught for 20 years. After retiring in 1981 he became the senior’s pastor at First Assembly of God in Lebanon where he served until 1999. Those were 18 wonderful years. Henry was a family man. The joy of his life was being with his children and grandchildren. He loved to garden and visit with people. He spoke highly of his co-workers. Henry was a generous man always giving to those in need. His greatest passion was telling people about Jesus. If you could talk with Henry today he would quote D.L. Moody and say “You are reading in the paper I... (Albany Democrat-Herald)
