Sept. 1, 1911—March 23, 2012 Emma L. Galmbacher, a former vaudeville performer and longtime department store clerk, died Friday in her Orchard Park home. She was 100. Born in Buffalo, the former Emma L. Eisenhardt was educated at St. Stephen’s School. In her early years, she supported her family during the Depression by singing and dancing in vaudeville shows that also included performances at Shea’s Buffalo, family members said. She met her husband, Frank, while performing at St. Ann’s Hall. They were married for about 30 years... (The Buffalo News)

She later was pastoral associate at St. Bernadette and St. Ambrose parishes, and served in the pastoral department of Mercy Hospital and Mount Mercy Academy.
