He was 46. -- Johnny Wilson, who set an NHL record by appearing in 580 consecutive games and played on four Stanley Cup champions with Detroit in the 1950s, died last Tuesday in Livonia, Mich. He was 82. -- Jim Huber, a broadcaster for Turner Sports, died of acute leukemia. Huber worked for Turner for 27 years and was known mainly for his essays on golf telecasts. He was 67. Registered Nurse.Ellen is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (Llewellyn) Means and Marilyn Harmon, both of Rochester; her son, Charles (Dorothy) Mitchell, Livonia, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; two brothers, Kadell and Eddie J. Larkins; and an infant son, Melvin.Ellen left this final message: “To all the people I loved and all that loved me, I don't want to leave a void that can never be filled or pain that will never heal. Focus on life and living, not death. Focus on growth and fulfillment, not emptiness. Celebrate laughter over tears and giving over losing. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. Hygrade Co. during the time he was in Clarinda and continued to work for the Sara Lee Corp. He worked for 45 years, retiring in 1995. Wayne lived in several places, including Clarinda until 1977, Livonia, Mich., Phoenix, Ariz,, and returned to Clarinda in June 2011, living at the Eiler House. Wayne was a very caring, giving, quiet man who enjoyed the simple life and his family was very important to him. He was a very hard worker, conscientious of his responsibilities. Wayne loved sports and enjoyed rooting for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the Seattle Seahawks and with encouragement from his Clarinda family was becoming an Iowa State Cyclone fan. In earlier years, while living in Clarinda, Wayne was a member of the Lion's Club and Westminster Presbyterian Church. Preceding Wayne in death were his parents; wife, Jean (12/2/1975); and siblings, Alec Livingston, Christine Wiggins, Doris Proveaux and Allen Livingston.
