He was ordained at Deer Park Baptist Church in Louisville on January 5, 1964. It was because of his open heart to God that the gentle spirit of the Lord called many to the saving grace of God. His desire upon his death was not he, but God be glorified and praised! A private family service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at the V... (Albany Democrat-Herald)
