Katherine Patricia Heath

On Dec. 20, 1932, Kate was united in marriage to David S. Heath at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church in Bemidji, Minn. They had five children, and over the years lived in Solway, Shevlin and Bagley, Minn., Bettendorf, Iowa, and Portland, Ore. In 1957, Kate and Dave headed west, settling in Lewistown in 1961. Kate was employed at several local restaurants over the years, including the Maple Leaf, Ed & Lil’s, Empire, Gem and Fergus Café and the Yogo Inn. She also operated Acme Rooms for several years.She was a member of St. Leo’s Church, she belonged to St. Anthony’s Guild and enjoyed helping with the harvest dinners and St. Leo’s basement rummage sale for many years. Playing cards and bingo were favorite pastimes and she always had a good time with her Senior Citizen friends.  Kate lived her life for her family, and enjoyed traveling to be with them or welcoming them to her home. She is survived by her son, Bill ... Ava of Cochrane, Wis.; a daughter, Judy Fellows of Utica and her family, Dylan (Kim) Fluekiger of Alma and Katie Fluekiger of Eau Claire, Wis. He is further survived by a sister, Bernice Jenkins of Bemidji, and numerous nieces and nephews. Herb was preceded in death by a sister, Lola, and his parents. Services to celebrate Herb's life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, with the Rev. Tim Gerarden officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Scotch Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Lewiston.
