Joyce Leigh Weber - The Coloradoan

Colorado after the completion of her degree. Larry and Joyce were blessed with the birth of two children - Mark, born in Boston and Kristine in Englewood, Colo. They moved to Ft. Collins in 1972, where Joyce raised their family while working and volunteering in many local social programs providing assistance to low income, elderly and the uninsured families. In 1986 she was named 'Volunteer of the Year' by the League of Women Voters and later was the Founding Director of the Healthy Beginnings Pre-Natal Program at McKee Medical Center. Outside of work, Joyce enjoyed hiking, skiing, and tennis. She developed many lifetime friends through her bridge group and reading groups as well as through her church activities at Trinity Lutheran and First Presbyterian. Joyce was a caring, spiritual woman whose family and friends were the center of her life. She was well known for her generosity and loving heart and always put others needs before her own. The large network of close friends who truly cherished her friendship is a testament to her character. She is survived by her husband, Larry, son, Mark Weber and daughter, Kristine (Ross) Reinking and grandchildren Blake Weber, Adyson & Aydin Reinking. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 a.m., Friday March 30. Robert B. Cohen Dies at 85; Founded the Hudson News Chain

Cohen, who wrote the gossip column, “I, Claudia,” for The Daily News of New York in the early 1980s, died of ovarian cancer in 2007. His son Michael died in 1997. Mr. Cohen, who also owned a home in Englewood, N.J., owned race horses. One of them, named Hudson County — for which Mr. Cohen had paid $6,700 — finished second to Cannonade in the 1974 Kentucky Derby. (New York Times)

Mary is survived by her husband, Philip Seaholm, of the family ranch in Grass Range; brother, James French of Englewood, Tenn.; two daughters, Valerie (Dib) Espinoza of Arlee, and Tena Kozub of Lewistown; two sons, Roy Seaholm of Grass Range, and Albert (Darci) Seaholm of Grass Range; grandchildren Krystal and Melody Montgomery, Phil (Sarah) Espinoza, Rafe (Robyn) Espinoza, Kimberly, Lindsay, Karson and Nickolas Kozub, Caden and Bailey Ann Seaholm; great-granddaughter, Rae Marie Espinoza; step-grandchildren, Janelle, Johnna and Jill; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Ralph and Jack French; daughter Nora Montgomery; grandson Tucker Montgomery; son-in-law Larry Witschen; nephew Jim French, mother and father-in-law, Mabelle and Albert Seaholm; and life-long best friend, Laverne (Finkbeiner) Boettger.Many thanks to Mary’s caregivers and friends at the CMMC Skilled Nursing Home over the six years that she lived there.Viewing and visitation will be held at the Creel Funeral Home in Lewistown on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 3 to 8 p.m.Funeral services for Mary Ione Seaholm will be held at the Grass Range United Methodist Church on Friday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. Eastern Star Services will be accorded by Anna Smalley Chapter, #112, O.E.S.Burial will be in the Grass Range Cemetery.
