She was preceded in death by an infant son, Maurice E. McKenna; her husband, Maurice McKenna; her sister, Jane Prenger; and a step son, Phillip Geilenkirchen. She came to the Pacific North-west in the 1960s, and settled in Longview and Castle Rock, Wash. She was a waitress for many years and then spent her time loving and raising her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, baking, canning, farming, reading and enjoying her many friendships. He is survived by his wife, Georgena of Lebanon; special daughter Sami Baker and husband Steve of Reno, Nev.; brother Albert Elting of Castle Rock, Wash.; sister Nancy Meier of Lebanon; sisters-in-law Janiece Castro of Albany and Tamara Byrd of Fair Banks, Alaska; special nieces Deborah Canavan and Kimberley Velie, both of Kenai, Alaska; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James "Clancy" Elting; and his parents. In keeping with his wishes, no services are planned. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Bill Kagee on a blind double date. Her friend Georgia went out with Bill and Mary with one of Bill’s friends, but she and Bill seemed to hit it off. They were married on March 24, 1951. They moved to Castle Rock, and she helped any way she could as her husband, with his father and brother, worked in the woods. Bill and Mary started their family with first born Sue in 1953. They moved to Lebanon in 1955, and had their second born, Karen, in 1956. In August 1960 Mary and Bill moved to Waterloo Road where Bill still logged, with Deer Creek Logging. Controversial former Morton teacher Michael Moulton dies at 57 -

Michael’s son, is being held at the Cowlitz County Jail in Kelso on felony charges of child molestation, second-degree assault of a child and unlawful imprisonment after an alleged incident in Castle Rock July 9 in which Moulton was reported to have pulled a boy’s pants down in a bathroom stall and choked the boy during a baseball tournament. Authorities reported similar incidents involving Steven Moulton at the Maytown Rest Area June 27 and at a bathroom stall at Gust Backstrom City Park in Morton in 2010. A mental competency evaluation for Moulton to determine his fitness to stand trial is due for this week in Cowlitz County Superior Court.
